Christopher Mays received a B.S. from Virginia Tech and J.D. from the George Washington University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Virginia. Before beginning his practice of law, Chris served as a combat medic and clinical medical laboratory specialist in the United States Army, and spent more than five years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center conducting medical support missions.
Chris is an active member of the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He authored A Brief Primer on Drug Testing for Family Law Practitioners, VTLA Journal, Vol. 19, No. 2 (2007). He is also co-author of Continuing Legal Education outlines for Attacking the Witness in Custody Evaluations, Virginia State Bar Annual Divorce Practice Seminar, 2005; and Third Party Custody and Relocation Issues in Virginia, Virginia State Bar Annual Divorce Practice Seminar, 2006.
